Karma of the Dragon

I was at Sri Pacific (Pan Pacific) near PWTC pigging out on the RM68++ buffet deal.

Now here's the thing - they were having something like a dragon fruit promotion fiesta and that means most of the food had dragon fruit added. Think roast chicken with pickled dragon fruit, and you may get what I mean.

It was seriously like they wanted to sprinkle dragon fruit ALL OVER THE PLACE if they could.
That, and they bought too much dragon fruit.

But seriously, pickled dragon fruit?
I chose not to take any chances.

But today, I am not writing about the food. No sir.
You see, it came to my realization that we should always be on our best behavior.
ALWAYS.

I was done with my food when I noticed my half-full glass, still wet at the rim.
When I was younger, I had this habit of playing with the wet rim (somehow that sounds so wrong) by scraping my finger along the edges.

Like so.

And...

Repeat.

But don't forget to wash.

If you think my using these pictures served no purpose, you are half-right - I am experimenting with blogger. I'm just looking for an excuse to use the pics. XD

So back to the squealing thing.

Doing this serves no other purpose than driving people around you nuts with the faint humming-like screech it makes. Good for family trips when that annoying aunt who keeps on asking you when you're getting married is around.

So yeah, there I was, dipping my finger inside my glass to wet the rim.
I reminded myself not to drink from this glass anymore.

CONTAMINATION LA OI!

God knows where my fingers have been!
Or could have been. *SIGH* <--- this is a serious sigh.

So yeah, much much later after toying around with it the kind waiter topped up my superb sky juice. I was so deeply engrossed with the conversation that I did not realize the very glass I drank from....

...was the very same glass I dipped my finger in.

At times like these, I thank God I always wash my hands after a trip to the gents.

BTW, my stomach didn't quite agree with all the dragon fruit - a laxative* in its own right.
Not a smart choice for your main dishes imho... especially when the uninitiated like me comes into the picture.

I can still feel the dragon's roar in my tummy.
ARGH!!!
